Fuel Outside Sales Rep

Aero has been in business since 1929, providing quality products and services in the heating/cooling industry to all of our customers. We have grown in size and services throughout the years and are continuing that progress. Aero is looking for a full time Fuel Outside Sales Rep to join our growing team in Denton, MD.
Summary: Acquire new commercial and wholesale accounts while maintaining relations with current customers.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma and 5+ years’ outside sales experience with demonstrated sales volume achievement in a similar industry/environment.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to groups, such as customers or subordinates.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in both oral and written form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Driver’s License

This position will require the ability to drive long distances within customer locations to make periodic visits to customers.

- Solicit new commercial and wholesale customers.
- Have an understanding of logistics, including calculation of freight cost.
- Develop and manage prospects.
- Manage and maintain supply contracts.
- Manage customer accounts and fuel orders.
- Continuously review and manage customer pricing to ensure GP targets are met.
- Have an understanding of fuel markets, competitive advantages and competitor pricing.
- Drive employee vehicle in assigned territory to prospect for leads of new accounts.
- Other duties, as assigned.
