District Manager

We are seeking an energetic and strategic District Manager to direct service, delivery and customer service operations for our Carlisle, PA plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Coordinates service, delivery, and customer service operations in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by Director of Operations.
  • Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees.
  • Reviews controllable costs (such as payroll) and service and delivery efficiency to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.
  • Directs the timely and accurate preparation of accounting information and documents.
  • Recommends budgets to management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Operations Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma required. Higher education (e.g., AA in business) desired and/or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educated experience. Valid driver’s license required. CDL B license strongly preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Computer System Software and how it applies to specific job requirements.
Other Qualifications: Commercial Driver’s License desired.
