Fleet Maintenance Technician

We are now offering a signing bonus up to $7,000 for this role.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Accurately and independently diagnose/troubleshoot equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance at required intervals
  • Ability to repair all aspects of tank trucks, pumps, meters and equipment
  • Report necessary repairs to management for approval
  • Use fleet management software to document all repairs
Applicant must meet the following:
  • PA State Inspection License
  • CDL Class B, minimum requirement
  • Hand tools applicable to this trade
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing/repairing medium and heay duty equipment
  • Availability to work overtime, as needed
  • Willingness to continue education as needed for various required certifications
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educated experience. Valid clean driver’s license required.  CDL B license required. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine correspondence. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rates, ratio. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.   Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Computer System Software including Bendix A-com, Cummins Insite Volvo Premium Tech Tool, Allison DOC, and Service Maxx. Other Qualifications: Commercial Driver’s License B required.
